Anonymous. A Woman in Berlin
thickens Series titles from
Schindler's List, recreate the misfortunes and miseries of World War II from the experienced civil rather than military or purely political. Like many of its predecessors, the film tries to portray Max Färberböck the horror of war without demonizing or claim any of the sides involved: the search for moments of neutrality or balance requirement becomes counterproductive.
Without having read the original book, the feeling that the filmmaker Munich adapted "over" the diary that the German journalist Marta Hillers wrote during the fall of Berlin occupied by the Soviet army. At least that their dialogue suggests two old Teutonic while attending an impromptu dance between red and women soldiers from Germany. The scene of celebration is plausible in a context of celebration for the end of the race war. Not so on a European parliament with a desire to reconcile and unite, who seems destined to renew the hope for a current project now in crisis.
On the other hand, the balance mentioned in our introduction seems wrought with strict impartiality. The brutality of the systematic rape and records the suffering protagonist pays off anonymous and moral argument, for example, the story of a Soviet sergeant on the massacre of Russian children at the hands of hordes arias.

The hate the Germans have for the red decreases as the film progresses. Färberböck it dissipated when it shows the intruders and other victims of the big monster stomping. The strategy is similar to the civilians of Berlin, the first Nazi convinced, then surprised and embarrassed to certain revelations about the achievements of the Führer.

editorilización Beyond this,
Limited. A Woman in Berlin
is a well-intentioned film that aims to expose the horror of war without making value judgments on the enemies involved. Within this framework, provides the particular focus on something in general hidden / ignored the whole race: the part that touches on women, sexual violence, in this case deliberate and systematic.

said, and as is usual with most film adaptations literary source, it is likely that the diary entries of Marta Hillers much further than Färberböck proposal.
